Dalip Singh Rana, better known by his ring name The Great Khali, is an Indian-born American former professional wrestler, promoter, and actor. The 7'1" powerhouse won Mr. India powerlifting titles in 1995 and 1996 and served in the Punjab Police.
Khali debuted in WWE in 2006 and became the first Indian-born world champion, capturing the World Heavyweight Championship on July 17, 2007, by defeating Batista. He headlined major storylines against The Undertaker, John Cena, Kane, and Edge throughout the late 2000s.
A 2021 WWE Hall of Fame inductee, he also founded Continental Wrestling Entertainment (CWE) in India and won its Heavyweight Championship twice.
In acting, Khali made his Hollywood debut as Turley in The Longest Yard (2005). He played Dalip in Get Smart (2008), Tug Phelps in MacGruber (2010), and appeared in Bollywood films Kushti (2010) and Ramaa: The Saviour (2010). He was runner-up on Bigg Boss 4 (2011) and later starred in HOUBA! On the Trail of the Marsupilami (2012) and MR-9: Do or Die (2023).
