Pornsak Pichetshote

Pornsak Pichetshote is a Thai-American comic book writer and editor who began his career at DC Comics’ Vertigo imprint in the early 2000s as an editor on acclaimed series including Daytripper, Sweet Tooth, The Unwritten, Unknown Soldier, Swamp Thing, The Losers, and Human Target.

His newest series is Absolute Green Arrow (DC Absolute Universe, 2026, with Rafael Albuquerque) and it is releasing today. Due to high demand, a second printing is scheduled to arrive on June 17, 2026. You can grab a copy of Green Arrow at his booth or at one of our many Comic Book sellers at the show this year.

He debuted as a writer with the horror series Infidel (Image Comics, 2018, with artist Aaron Campbell). His creator-owned and high-profile writing credits include: The Good Asian (Image Comics, 2021, 10 issues, with Alexandre Tefenkgi): Chinatown noir about a Chinese-American detective in 1936 San Francisco. Won the 2022 Eisner Award for Best Limited Series and 2022 Harvey Award for Book of the Year.

His other titles include: Sandman Universe: Dead Boy Detectives (DC, 2023, 6-issue limited series, with Jeff Stokely), Man’s Best (Boom! Studios, 2024, 5 issues, with Jesse Lonergan), The Horizon Experiment (Image Comics, 2024): co-creator/co-editor of the five one-shot anthology; wrote The Manchurian (with Terry & Rachel Dodson).

His Anthology/short story contributions include Exquisite Corpses (Image, multiple issues/arcs with James Tynion IV & Michael Walsh), The Silver Coin #14 (Image), Geiger 80-Page Giant (Image), and Alien: Black, White & Blood (Marvel).
