Catherine Bell

Catherine Bell is an actress who rose to international fame as Lieutenant Colonel Sarah “Mac” MacKenzie on the long-running CBS hit JAG (1997–2005), starring in over 200 episodes as the principled Marine Corps lawyer.

Following JAG, she continued her televison career as Denise Sherwood on Lifetime’s Army Wives (2007–2013). Bell then headed to the town of Middleton for her role as Cassandra “Cassie” Nightingale in Hallmark’s The Good Witch franchise. She originated the role in the 2008 television movie and continued through seven feature films and the 2015–2021 series.

Her film credits include Bruce Almighty opposite Jim Carrey and the Netflix comedy The Do-Over with Adam Sandler. Bell has also starred in numerous popular TV movies, holiday romances, and other Hallmark features.
