
Sebastian Roché’s television career is extensive, with standout roles as Kurt Mendel in Odyssey 5, Thomas Jerome Newton in Fringe, and the cunning Balthazar in Supernatural. He captivated audiences as Mikael, the formidable vampire patriarch, in both The Vampire Diaries and its spin-off The Originals.
He portrayed Reichsminister Martin Heusmann in The Man in the High Castle and Michel Marivaux in The Young Pope. His recent credits include Father Renaud in 1923, a Yellowstone prequel, and in Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities. Other notable TV appearances include Criminal Minds, Grimm, Scandal, and General Hospital, where he played the scheming Jerry Jacks.
