Mark-Paul Gosselaar is known for his many television roles, most notably as Zack Morris in Saved by the Bell. Gosselaar starred in the hit television comedy series from 1989 to 1993. He would later reprise the role in two TV movies and a spin-off, Saved by the Bell: The College Years and Saved by the Bell: The New Class. In 1991, he won a Young Artist Award for portraying Zach Morris as a Best Young Actor Starring in an Off-Primetime Series.
Gosselaar is known for his role as Paul Johnson in the ABC sitcom series Mixed-ish, Detective John Clark Jr. in NYPD Blue, and Peter Bash in Franklin & Bash. Mark-Paul was cast in Hyperion Bay, ABC’s Commander in Chief, John from Cincinnati, Pitch, and Raising the Bar. He later starred in the 2016 and 2019 TV series Pitch and The Passage, respectively.
He was also the lead in the films Dead Man on Campus and The Princess and the Marine.
In 2019, Gosselaar began playing the lead role of Paul Jackson in the ABC comedy series Mixed-ish. Gosselaar also reprised his role as Zack Morris in the 2020 sequel series Saved by the Bell.
