Barbie Blank (Kelly Kelly) is a model, actress, and former professional wrestler with a background in gymnastics and cheerleading, she was scouted by WWE in 2006 while modeling for Venus Swimwear, despite no prior wrestling experience. Signed at 19, she trained in Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) and debuted on WWE’s ECW brand in June 2006 as the youngest Diva on the roster. Initially an exhibitionist with Extreme Exposé alongside Layla and Brooke Adams, she transitioned to in-ring competition by late 2007.
Kelly’s wrestling career peaked in June 2011 when she won the WWE Divas Championship on a “Power to the People” edition of Raw, defeating Brie Bella for a four-month reign, ending with a loss to Beth Phoenix. She competed in high-profile matches, including a tag team victory at WrestleMania XXVIII in 2012 with Maria Menounos against Phoenix and Eve Torres. Known for her “K2” leg drop bulldog, she also challenged for the WWE Women’s Championship multiple times. In 2019, she became the first woman to win the WWE 24/7 Championship, cementing her legacy as a two-time champion.
She battled injuries and made sporadic returns, including Royal Rumble appearances in 2019, 2020, and 2022. She also competed briefly in independent promotions like Northeast Wrestling. Blank signed a WWE legends deal in 2025.
