Brian Tochi is an actor and voice artist with a prolific career spanning over five decades. Tochi debuted in 1968 on the sitcom He & She. He gained early recognition as Ray Tsing Tao in Star Trek: The Original Series and later appeared in Star Trek: The Next Generation. His guest roles included The Brady Bunch, Kung Fu, and Hawaii Five-O.

In the 1980s, Tochi became widely known for playing Toshiro Takashi in the Revenge of the Nerds franchise and Cadet Tomoko Nogata in Police Academy 3: Back in Training and Police Academy 4: Citizens on Patrol. Tochi voiced Leonardo in the first three live-action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles films (1990-1993).

His television work includes recurring roles in St. Elsewhere as Dr. Alan Poe and Santa Barbara, plus a lead in Space Academy as Tee Gar Soom. Tochi also starred alongside Patrick Swayze in The Renegades.

As a voice actor, he lent his talents to animated series like Avatar: The Last Airbender (Than, Ham Ghao), Dexter’s Laboratory, Johnny Bravo, and Mortal Kombat: Defenders of the Realm (Liu Kang), as well as films like The Iron Giant and Mulan II.
