We are bringing Kwon to our Summer Con dojo! Please welcome Brandon Lee to the Washington State Summer Con from June 20th through the 22nd.

In 2024, Lee landed his breakout role as Kwon Jae-Sung in Cobra Kai Season 6, portraying a rebellious, intense South Korean martial artist recruited by John Kreese for the Sekai Taikai tournament. His Taekwondo expertise brought authenticity to Kwon’s brutal fight scenes, earning praise for his charisma and emotional depth as a tragic villain. Lee appeared in seven episodes, captivating audiences with his dynamic performance. Additional credits include Our Late Father (TV series), The Red Rob Roy Show (2024), and The Elementals (2022), with an upcoming role in the 2025 short Violet Vendetta as Luke.

Lee’s passion for martial arts and acting was ignited at age three, inspired by Jackie Chan’s films—an enthusiasm that led to a broken leg from mimicking Chan’s stunts. Trained by his father, Grand Master Yong Hyeok Lee, a three-time Korean National Taekwondo Champion, Brandon began Taekwondo at three, earning a fifth-degree black belt and a 2019 U.S. National Freestyle Taekwondo Championship title. He also secured a silver medal at the 2020 World Taekwondo Presidential Poomsae Championships as part of Team USA before retiring from competition to pursue acting.

Lee made his mark in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a stunt double for Simu Liu in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, earning a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination for the stunt ensemble. His stunt work extended to fight choreography in the fan-made short Naruto: Legend of the Drunken Fist.
