We were over the Rebel Moon when Sofia Boutella said she would join the Washington State Summer Con lineup from June 21st to the 23rd in Puyallup. Sofia is the lead in the new Zack Snyder film Rebel Moon, where she portrays Kora in this exciting new sci-fi world and franchise. We think she is an up-and-coming superstar and are honored to host her in June!
Sofia is an actress, dancer and model. She began dancing at 17 in film and television shows, as well as in commercials and concert tours. Her huge role as Kora started with the first installment of the Zach Snyder Rebel Moon series: Rebel Moon: Part One – A Child of Fire. The second installment, Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver, will be released in April before the Washington State Summer Con.
In 2015, she appeared in her first major film, Kingsman: The Secret Service, and a year later, she appeared as the alien warrior Jaylah in Star Trek Beyond. Sofia portrayed a French secret agent in the David Leitch film Atomic Blonde and the title role in The Mummy. Her credits also include the psychological horror film Climax with Michael B. Jordan, Fahrenheit 451, and the thriller Hotel Artemis. Boutella played the female lead in SAS: Rogue Heroes, released in 2022.
Sofia will be featured alongside Henry Cavill in the feature film Argylle releasing February at theaters.
