We couldn’t resist adding Jessie Flower to the Washington State Summer Con lineup to now make THREE castmates from Avatar: The Last Airbender coming to Puyallup on June 23rd through the 25th. Michaela Jill Murphy (aka Jessie Flower) is an American actress, singer, and writer often known for her voice work as Toph Beifong in Nickelodeon’s Avatar: The Last Airbender, Chaca in Platinum End, Disney’s The Emperor’s New School, and many others. She grew up acting in Los Angeles, then graduated in Theater and Film with a concentration in play/screenwriting from Yale University. She recently created her own line of Avatar: The Last Airbender-inspired apparel and merchandise on her site titled Bandit Basics. Jessie premiered her first short film, Stalgia, as a writer, producer, and voiced a villain named Katherine Zephyr in the audio series The Realm Tree. Currently, she is still auditioning for VO and brushing up on her writing chops while voicing the English dub of special rank angel Nasse in the anime Platinum End which is streaming on Funimation and Crunchyroll!
